"Blue" has approximately 90 days training under saddle, and has also been trail ridden.
He is being schooled as a hunter pony, and has taken a few small jumps. He is very willing to jump, but we don't ask him to jump often or high because of his age. The 9 yr old girl who is jumping him in the picture had never ridden him before that day. She warmed him up for 10 minutes and started jumping him. He is also being schooled in trail obstacles and showmanship. He will make an excellent 4-H or Pony Club prospect. "Blue" participated in one Novice Walk/Trot riding class last fall in which he finished 4th. He has been used in the 4-H production show since he was a weanling, and is very calm when taken to new surroundings. He clips (but is a little shy about his ears), bathes, loads, and stands well for the farrier. Current deworming, shots and coggins. Both parents on premises.
